Family is not an important thing, it is everything! Without my family, I would not be in politics. I fight for them and I know you fight for yours.

Family First

  • We must place the family at the heart of every policy, everything we do is for the family and the generations that follow.
  • The Five Year Plan, Re-industrial Revolution, Energy Independence, Food Independence... Every single policy is in support of the family and the family will be placed as the highest pillar of our society.

Birthrates

  • Our birthrate is plummeting. A nation needs 2.1 (2.1 live births for every woman) to be able to survive. Ours is 1.4 and falling generation after generation.
    • Couples will be encouraged to start families through financial incentives, as have been mentioned in other policies, and through a duty to these Isles.
      • As well as the tax cuts already mentioned, British parents that have 4 or more children will have their income tax halved.
    • The Nuclear Family will be advertised everywhere
    • Our young will be taught the importance of starting and maintaining a family when they are adults

Maternity and Paternity Leave

  • Paid maternity leave will be extended to 12 months. Paid paternity leave will be doubled to 4 weeks.
  • Mothers, who return to work, will have significantly more rights to work-family balance including the right to request term-time working and part-time working. Businesses will be financially compensated.
