Our history and heritage are the cornerstones of our nation. How can we possibly know where we are going, if we do not know where we have come from?
We must promote and celebrate our history and heritage once again.
Public Holidays
- We will implement additional Public Holidays. England and Wales have some of the lowest in Europe at 8, whilst the European average is 12. We need at least 4 more: St Georges Day (21st April), St David’s Day (1st March), Remembrance Monday (the first Monday after Remembrance Sunday in November) and at least one additional day in the summer either June or July.
Education
- Children will be taught about our past and all of the great things we did, the days of talking our past down will end. Our nation is held up as a shining beacon for many to follow, even in 2026 many look to us as their example.
Public Buildings and Artifacts
- Too many of the amazing buildings of our past are being allow to decay and be lost forever:
- We will support organisations that protect our architecture including our abandoned manor homes, churches, museums and others
