Our infrastructure is creaking; it cannot keep up with what we currently require it for or what we will need it for in the future.

White Elephants

  • We must abolish the white elephants and the red tape:
    • Scrap HS2 and recover all savings possible.
    • Scrap the power wielded by the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC)

Investment

Rail

    • Use the billions saved from scrapping HS2 to fund vital upgrades to our current rail network including reopening train stations and railway tracks.

  • Roads

    • Upgrade our road network with a focus on Northern England, the Midlands, Scotland and Wales.
    • Build two bridges to unite our Isles. The first one from Scotland to Northern Ireland – The Celtic Crossing. The second one from Wales to the Republic of Ireland – The Unity Bridge.
      • These bridges will include both 3 lane motorways and rail.

  • Ports & Shipyards

    • Reopen, rebuild and open new ports in preparation for our Isles becoming an industrial powerhouse once more.
