The NHS is our greatest asset, it is the most noble invention of our nation. Where once our poor had to spend every penny they had for basic medical care, now they have it for free at the point of use. However, our NHS is at risk. Mismanagement and waste are leading to cracks and vulture capitalists are circling hoping to pick off the pieces for themselves at the expense of our people. We must save our NHS.

National Health Service (NHS)

  • Make privatisation of the NHS illegal and reverse any that has already taken place: cleaners and external services. Any privatisation is a slippery slope.
  • We will get rid of the high paid middle management and vast swaths of the non-medical roles
  • We will end the extortionate procurement contracts, some of which have resulted in basic items being purchased at luxury prices. All contracts will be reviewed.

National Care Service (NCS)

As our population ages, more of our people require care. Leaving this care to the private sector is not an option, in the long term. We need a National Care Service (NCS).

  • The NCS will provide care services to our elderly with a focus on care in the community.
  • It will be funded by the state, similar to the NHS.
