We must reverse Thatcher's mass privatisation of the 80s and 90s. We will nationalise vast sections of our society and and place them in the hands of the people.

Water

  • Our water industry must be re-nationalised. It is failing to deliver a basic requirement for human life: clean water. Taps are literally running dry in parts of the country and millions are being put at risk through pollution and mismanagement. As a result, We will not pay for this nationalisation.
  • We will build additional reservoirs to end the "droughts" we suffer through every summer
  • We will stop the leaks and keep the water flowing for our farmers, our industries and our people.

Energy

  • Our energy industry must be nationalised, only then can we achieve Energy Independence and ensure it is run at cost and not used to profiteer off of the people.
  • We will create a nationalised energy supplier and undercut the private sector to the point they can no longer compete in our Isles.

Natural Resources

  • All of our national resources must be nationalised. Including our vast quantities of: Gas, shale, oil, coal, gold and other raw materials including our rare earth minerals
  • We have enough coal to power our Isles for 300 years
  • Enough gas to provide decades of warmth
  • Enough oil to drive our economy forward
  • We have vast amounts of other resources too including: £100 billion worth of Polyhalite (a natural fertiliser).

Steel Industry

  • Our steel industry was once highly prized by nations around the world, now we are being beaten by sub standard alternatives. Excessive energy costs, profiteering and foreign ownership are the main drivers of the collapse of this vital industry of war and peace. We will nationalise this industry and make it the world leader once more.

Rail

  • We were told our rail industry had to be privatised so that vital investment could take place. Well, where is this investment? We see billions of taxpayer’s money being pumped in and billions of shareholder’s money being taken out but zero investment. Whilst nations like Poland built state of the art trains, our trains look like they were found in a shed. It is time we re-nationalise our rail industry, end the excessive price rises and invest.

It is time we create British Water, British Energy, British Steel and British Rail.
