Our pensioners have worked their entire lives. They have raised families, built careers and businesses and most importantly they built this country and continue to fight for it.

Too many of our elderly are now forced to choose between heating or eating.

State Pension

• Our pensioners need financial security:
  • The State Pension must stay above inflation
  • The Triple Lock must remain in place

Private Pension

• Private pensions are key to retirement. All private pension schemes will continue to be supported and prompted. All pension contributions will be tax free.
• Trillions in private pensions will be unlocked to invest in this country including: The Re-industrial Revolution, core infrastructure projects and the nationalisation of key industries.

Taxation

• Taxation will end for all pensioners earning less than £35,000 a year, as long as they have worked and paid taxes for at least 35 years of their life, they have paid enough.
